Wharram Percy is an abandoned village in North Yorkshire. It had a thriving population until the medieval period, eventually becoming deserted in the 16h century...leaving behind plague pits and a mysterious burial site where the dead have been found to have been mutilated....they beheaded and burned their own villagers.
